Palm Desert, May 14, 2013:  On Saturday May 18, 2013, 6pm – 10pm, John & Gina Carey will dazzle guest with their Smooth Jazz/ Sultry Soul Performance. Weekly performances are scheduled for this talented married couple on Saturday’s & Sunday’s 6pm-10pm. These exciting weekly performances by John and Gina Carey will be held at one of Palm Springs most exquisite Southern/Argentineans restaurants, Central Park. John & Gina Carey will perform in the all new Tango Room where you will not only enjoy the mouthwatering Argentinean cuisine at an affordable price, but, great music and a breathtaking view of the Central Park foyer area.

  Singer, Songwriter and producers, married couple John & Gina Carey have been performing and recording professionally, as independent artist for many years. Their individual talents have taken them all over the world. John Carey has also played with Theo Coakley for the last 15years under the name of the Smooth Brothers.

   This power couple has combined their talents into one electrifying Soul/Jazz performance band called the “THE URBAN SOUL PROJECT”. Throughout their musical careers, both John & Gina have written & produced several soul/jazz/gospel & blues CD’s. “Urban Soul Guitarist John Carey’s, most recent CD “Smooth Soulful & Funky & Soul Singer Gina Carey’s latest CD “Gina Carey…The Songbird. They are currently both working on new CD’s due to be released in the fall of 2013. Their 2011 CD releases, “New Beginnings” & Melodic” both produced by John Carey also entered the UK soul Charts and entered the top spots within the same week. Gina’s CD “Melodic” took the #1 spot & John’s “New Beginnings” CD landed at #8. They were also named along with artist, Jill Scott, Kindred Soul, Eric Benet, Julie Dexter, Maysa, Brian McKnight & Nick Colione, with top Jazz & Soul Albums in 2011 by “ Soul Brother Records” The largest UK record store still standing.
